Irene and Carlos hosted one of the most unique weddings I have ever been to. The bride looked gorgeous decked out in feathers and a red and white custom gown. Carlos was as cool as ever with his stylin’ chops and pompadour dyed red to match. All the time and effort spent designing this Vegas themed wedding helped to transport their guests into Irene and Carlos’ own private playful world.
A group of of very talented women (most Red Loft Studios photographers) get together once a month to talk photography, eat, and have a little wine. We meet once a month at a different home and the host of each meeting is in charge of creating an assignment. The purpose of these meetings is to get back to our fine art creative roots, as well as to gather a body of work to show in a group exhibit. We have some really gifted photographers in this group and I’m so fortunate to be a part of a group of such strong, creative, free thinking women…..Here are just a few images from our first assignment (Self Portrait).

Saturday we celebrated Jim and Claudia’s wedding at the beautiful Pepperdine University Chapel. We all met up at the beach after the ceremony for some playful pics on a perfect California day. The reception at the Calabasas Country Club rocked all night long to the tune of “White Wedding” and “Jessie’s Girl.” Man, I wish I was a guest at this one!
I shot Danielle and David’s wedding at Strawberry Farms on April 1st. What a great location for a wedding. Not only was it a gorgeous day, but also a lot of fun. Danielle and David are so nice and both of their families were amazingly sweet. We felt just like family!!!!
Ok, I’m probably a little biased, but how cute is my nephew Owen?!
