Kem & Philip

Over the weekend I met up with Kem and Philip in Laguna to shoot their engagement session. We had a blast getting to know each other as well as getting some fun and romantic shots. I just hope they can compare to the shots they have of themselves on the beach as little kids…..That’s right these two are lucky enough to have know each other their whole lives!

Stephanie and Brian

This weekend I photographed a really fun wedding at Strawberry Farms Golf Course. The first time I met Stephanie and her mom Fran, I knew the wedding day was going to be full of laughter and a whole lot of love. Brian had an adorable idea to use fly fishing lures instead of flowers for his boutonniere to signify his love for fly fishing. The whole day was gorgeous and it was nice to be around such a loving couple. I even got to see one of my former clients and her little pregnant belly!

Congratulations on a happy and healthy marriage Stephanie and Brian!!!!

Sharon & Po engagement photos

» Jenny

Yesterday I photographed engagement photos in downtown LA for Sharon and Po. They live in downtown, so the pictures were symbolic of their lives in the busting metropolis we call Los Angeles. We started at the Disney Concert Hall and then headed to the courthouse. We then set our sites on Union Station where the lighting conditions were phenomenal. After playing around in every corner of the train station, Sharon and Po treated us to a french dip sandwich at the infamous Philippe’s. We had so much fun hanging out together! Who would have thought that starting your own photography business meant having fun doing your job and hanging out with some really cool people?….man I’m lucky!

John and Kelly Engagement Photos

» Tammy

This past weekend John and Kelly invited me to their lake house at Lake Nacimiento to take their engagement photos. It’s a beautiful location but it also holds special meaning for the two of them because they got engaged there. John and Kelly are so playful and fun we all had such a great time taking pictures. And they even brought their two dogs, Starsky and Hutch who made it into a few of the photos. After such a fun weekend I can’t wait to make it to the wedding!

Anastacia & Travis’ Vintage Wedding

» Jenny

Today I photographed the wedding of Anastacia and Travis Patrick. It was held at Travis’ aunts house in a 1919 craftsman in Long Beach. Ana’s dress and shoes were vintage 1900’s and Travis wore a period style tux and top hat. The garden wedding was gorgeously decorated with vintage inspired linens, colorful bunches of flowers, and several candelabras. The trickling fountain added to the serene setting of the yard filled with Ana and Travis’ family and friends. Congratulations Ana and Travis!!!!

Stefanie and Michael…a day in Laguna

» Jenny
Jenny

Yesterday I met up with Stefanie and Michael and we headed out to take some shots in the hills of Laguna. We were hoping for photos of the amazing view way up at “the top of the world” but instead we got rolling fog that made the sun have an ominous glow. It was gorgeous! We had a lot of fun checking out the architecture and the precariously built hilltop homes. Michael is an artist and we had fun sharing ideas on the perfect location for some of our shots. Who can drive to Laguna without hitting some of the amazing restaurants? Not us…..Stefanie and Michael invited me to dinner and we headed to Javier’s for some yummy mexican food. It was a great way to end a wonderful evening.
