This past Saturday I photographed Godwin and Kay’s wedding at the Marriot on
Coronado Island. Their ceremony was very intimate and held close to the
water. Kay looked absolutely beautiful with baby’s breath and roses in her
hair while Godwin was all smiles the entire day. I really had a great time
spending the day with them and getting to know their wonderful families.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Donovan and taking some photographs for his website and album. We took photos at the historic Masonic Temple Building in Long Beach. It was a lot of fun just hanging out and listening to Donovan play. He is truly talented and not to mention a really nice guy!

Last Sunday I photographed Jill and Kelly’s wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel. I’ve shot at this location several times and I absolutely love it more and more each time I’m there. The ceremony was beautiful! It was held on a terrace overlooking the ocean as the sun started to set. After the ceremony we walked down to the beach to get some more shots. It was so worth the walk… Jill and Kelly were absolutely stunning and so fun to work with. Congratulations you two!

I had a busy weekend shooting engagement photos and this Sunday was Julie and Ramsey’s turn. We started at the Getty which was nice and air conditioned! We walked around the different galleries to catch some pretty cool shots inside the museum. Then we headed to UCLA to use some of the really great architecture in our photos. Julie actually went to school at UCLA so we reminisced about her college days while we ran around taking photos on the campus. It was fun just spending time with the two of them and getting to know them better. We even found out that we were neighbors growing up (not really, but we all grew up a few towns apart). This past weekend I went to San Diego to shoot engagement photos for Taleen and Michael. We started in Rancho Santa Fe and then headed to the beach in Encinitas. We had a lot of fun hanging out and brainstorming about the wedding (They still have to pick out a location…..). They even brought out their dog Rockie who made several appearances throughout the day. Taleen and Michael are such a cute couple and I can’t wait to see how happy they’ll look on their wedding day.

Yesterday I was joined by Marnie, Bob and their pups for an engagement session in Laguna Beach. We started on “Top of the World” incorporating the park environment and killer views of the ocean in our shots. Luke, Cole & Dakota were very well behaved and perfect models. Having the pups along added so much to the photos and really helped me capture Marnie and Bob in their element. We followed the park with a trip to one of Bob’s favorite scuba diving spots. At the beach Cole really started to ham it up for the camera. He managed to steal a few shots from Mom and Dad.
