Andrea & Steve’s multi-cultural soiree…..

» Jenny
Jenny

On Sunday I photographed the wedding of Andrea and Steve. It was a traditional Armenian ceremony with a Latin and Armenian reception. Andrea and Steve transformed a church hall into an amazing bash. The lighting setup was really what transformed the whole space. They had spot lights, paper laterns, candles, along with an amazing band that set the mood. Both are musically inclined and even danced to a waltze composed by Andrea’s father….it was really touching! The real highlight was a dance to Led Zeppelin’s I’m Gonna Crawl. Since high school, I have had a thing for Led Zeppelin so I was amazed that someone could incorporate it into their wedding. I really loved being a part of this wedding…it was emotional as well as just a lot of fun. Congrats guys!

Sabrina and Travis “Tie the Knot”

» Katie
Katie

Saturday evening took me downtown Los Angeles to Sabrina and Travis’ “old Hollywood” inspired wedding. We joined Sabrina in her room at the Standard hotel for some getting ready shots and pre wedding laughs. Sabrina looked like she walked off the silver screen in one of the most beautiful wedding dresses I have ever seen. Then we hopped next door to Cafe Pinot for the ceremony. I felt like I was stealing a moment from the past amidst the hanging lanterns, floating gardenias, and twenties architecture of the Central Library. Once the sun went down the party was lit up by the lights from the surrounding buildings creating a truly romantic evening.

Cindy and Scott’s San Clemente Wedding

» Tammy

Yesterday I photographed Cindy and Scott’s wedding at the Ole Hanson Beach Club in San Clemente. This is such a cool location! We had a lot of fun taking advantage of all the photo ops including the beach, train tracks, and an amazing Spanish style building. And I have to give props to Cindy and
Scott for pulling off such a beautiful wedding. They did everything themselves down to the smallest details. It really was wonderful.
Congratulations!

Katie & Robbie’s Emerald Bay Photo Shoot

» Tammy
Tammy

This past Thursday I met Katie and Robbie at Emerald Bay to photograph their engagement session. This is such a beautiful location with snow white sand and emerald green water. First we spent some time playing on the beach and getting our feet wet. These two really have fun together laughing and cracking jokes. Afterwards we walked over to a near by park and snapped a few nature scenes. Katie and Robbie are such a lovely couple. I’m really looking forward to their wedding day.

Sharon, Po, and Good Ole’ Gene Autry…

Yesterday I photographed the wedding of Sharon and Po at the Gene Autry Museum in Los Angeles. I had never photographed a wedding there so it was a lot of fun! We scouted around the museum and found some great places to take some pictures…like on top of old Champion….Gene’s horse. There was just too much kitsch to pass up! The courtyard was decorated so beautifully and I was amazed at the colors they chose….orange and pink. It was vibrant and fun just like both of there personalities. Congratulations guys!
