The Los Angeles Arboretum was an absolutely beautiful setting for Pam and Matt’s wedding, which took place last Saturday. It actually felt like autumn in Los Angeles.  The leaves were changing colors and there was a little breeze in the air. We were able to walk to grounds just before sunset and get some great shots of the happily married couple. After photos, we were off to il fornaio in Pasadena to celebrate, but not before saying “Hello” to Santa Claus. You could tell he wanted a photo with the newlyweds!  When we got to the restaurant Matt and Pam had Jones soda waiting for everyone with little photo surprises on the labels and a blast from the past with a slideshow of the couple from over the years and of course, dinner was perfect. Congratulations on your marriage and new life together you guys!

Yesterday I met Robin and RJ at the Hermosa Beach pier to take some shots for their engagement session.  We couldn’t have asked for a better day… It was absolutely gorgeous!  The sun was out, the sky was clear and we had an amazing sunset to top off the day.  And it was so much fun getting to hang out with these two.  They’re so playful and naturals in front of the camera. We really had a great time. I’m looking forward to seeing them again at their wedding in September.

Last Saturday I photographed Amy and Terry’s wedding at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles. This place is so amazing with lots of history and charm. Amy and Terry added to that charm with an absolutely gorgeous wedding. They spared no details with their fall theme. The aisle was covered in colorful fall leaves as well as Amy’s bouquet of flowers.
Pumpkins were spread throughout and even served as numbers for each table. And I have to mention their song choices for the reception… Brilliant. I don’t think there was ever a time when no one was dancing. What a great celebration for two great people who completely belong together. Congratulations!

Sunday I took a drive up the 5 to the San Frenando Mission for Angelina and Charles’ engagment photos. Angelina and Charles wanted photos with a Spanish feel so I thought what better place! We had so much fun roaming the grounds finding unique photo opportunities. I loved framing Angelina and Charles in the archways and old wooden doors. Hopefully these pics will be a nice compliment to the photos we will take at the Long Beach Ebel Club for their wedding!

The Madison in Downtown Long Beach was the setting for Stefanie and Michael’s wedding last Sunday. It was a gorgeous and elegant location for their wedding. After the ceremony Stefanie, Michael and I drove down to the water and got some shots at the Pike. They were both so playful and we had a great time hanging out before the reception began. Michael is an artist and so he had some great ideas for photos…..I love the collaboration! Once the reception began, it was a huge dance fest…..I could not stop laughing at the fun that was going down on that dance floor! Great wedding guys! Congrats.

Last Saturday I photographed Thu Truc and Josh’s wedding. It was a lot of fun seeing the Vu family again. I photographed Thu Truc’s sister, Tonnie’s, wedding a few years ago. Both families spent the whole day together begining with a Catholic ceremony. Then it was on to a lunch at the Vu residence followed by a grand dinner in the evening. You could tell that everyone was having a great time! I wish you guys the best of luck together…..
