Maggie and Ted in San Francisco

» Tammy
Tammy

Last week I met Maggie and Ted in San Francisco to photograph their engagement session. We met at the Legion of Honor and took advantage of its great architecture and surrounding forest. What an amazing structure! And we couldn’t have asked for better weather… It was gorgeous blue skies across the board. Afterwards we headed to Bakers Beach where Maggie and Ted got really playful and even brazed the cold Pacific a bit. What troopers! These two are so cute together… I can’t wait to see how they are on their wedding day.

Patina Bride at the Disney Concert Hall

This Sunday Red Loft Studios participated in the Patina Bridal Show at the Disney Concert Hall. I was the official photographer for the day so I had fun running around grabbing pictures of the vendors and the brides. The Bridal Bar helps to host this event every year and it is a great way for brides and grooms to meet some really quality vendors while visiting the sleek, modern, Disney Concert Hall.
Here are some of our Red Loft Studios favorites from the day.

Red Loft Studios hits Hollywood baby….

» Jenny

Last week I participated in two tv shows for the WE Entertaiment network. I was invited to be a part of a boudoir photo segment, as well as a wedding dress makeover show. Organic Entertainment is putting these two series together and they are the most amazing people. Everyone on the set was so nice and treated us like gold. I would definitely say that this experience was one I will never forget. But I can safely say…I’m not the best in front of the camera so I doubt I’ll be quitting my day job!
Check out some of our Red Loft Studios favorites.

Day 1: “Lingerie Secrets Revealed” Boudoir Photo Shoot

Andrea assisted me with live capturing the images to the laptop (she’s our digital tech mama at Red Loft!)

Noilyn and Tony at the Pasadena Masonic Temple

» Jenny
Jenny

The weather was perfect this weekend and I got to share it with Noilyn and Tony on their wedding day. They got married at the really cool Masonic Temple in Pasadena. Tony’s creative side really showed when he came out in a tux and his black Chuck Taylors….AWESOME! It was great seeing them share such a romantic day at such a cool setting. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house during the ceremony and then again during the first dance. They have been together for 10 years and their love is still so strong, you can actually feel it just by standing in the same room with them. I have to also say, that Noilyn’s mom gave one of the funniest speeches I have ever heard at a wedding. She made the whole room roar with laughter. What a great day!

Kara & Brad at the LA Arboretum

» Jenny
Jenny

This Saturday I photographed engagement photos for Kara and Brad at the Los Angeles Arboretum. They are so much fun and have the same sense of humor as me, so the day didn’t even feel like work. It was like hanging out with old friends (except, I normally don’t follow my friends around with cameras!). Kara and Brad met on a blind date which I think is super romantic. You rarely hear of that working…..I guess sometimes those “movie-esque” things do happen. I can’t wait for Kara and Brad’s wedding. I’m sure it will be just as fun as they are.

Kira, Mike and the Kids

» Katie
Katie

I got to spend my Valentine’s Day afternoon with Kira and Mike and their wonderful kids Joelle, Brady, Bailey and Trevor. I had a blast hanging out with them at Seal Beach. We mixed it up with some family shots, shots of the kids and of course Kira and Mike. The one central theme throughout all the photos was laughter. These guys love to laugh and crack each other up. It makes my job so easy! I want to bring them along on each one of my shoots for entertainment. Congratulations Kira, Mike, Joelle, Brady, Bailey and Trevor!
