Red Loft would like to welcome Charlie Houston to the loft

» Jenny

Last week, one of our dear wedding coordinator friends stopped by the loft to show off her newest little member of the family, Charlie. He loved hangin’ at the loft and being our muse for the day. He checked his model ego at the door and only demanded the basics; binkie, blankie, and milk. Not too bad for his first shoot!

We can’t wait to see more of little Charlie. Congratulations Breanne and Jesse!

Jennifer and Matt’s engagement photos!

» Tammy

This past weekend I met up with Jennifer and Matt to photograph their
engagement session.  We had two amazing locations to work with.  First we
stopped by The Old Mill House in San Marino, then we headed to Alverno High
School in Sierra Madre.  Both of these locations are absolutely breathtaking
and dripping with history.  We really had a lot of fun taking advantage of
all the photo ops.  And I must say these two ended up getting quite
comfortable in front of the camera… What naturals!  I’m really looking
forward to seeing them again at their wedding in May.

Identity Home Staging and Design

Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting portraits for the extremely talented Keven Htain and his partner Keri for their new Identity Home website. They wanted some a-typical photographs to set themselves apart and showcase how cutting edge their design ideas are. We had a ton of fun trying out different locations and getting some really fun images.

Check out Kevin’s website (but be sure to check back soon when his new site is up!)

Angelina & Charles get hitched on Groundhog Day

» Katie

Friday Charity and I had the pleasure of photographing Angelina and Charles’ Long Beach wedding. We love shooting in our hometown and this wedding took us to all the best photo spots. We began our day at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Long Beach and then headed over to Shoreline Park with its views of the downtown skyline and the Queen Mary. I think the groundhog came out and put on his party hat because it was a beautiful sunny (and warm) day. The ceremony took place at the Long Beach Ebell Club. The ornately decorated building served as a beautiful backdrop for the wedding and really came to life with Angelina’s decorations of candles and red, orange, and yellow flower petals. A mariachi band started the party and the fun went on well into the night.

Check out some of Red Loft Studios’ favorite shots of the day.

Angelina’s classic beauty was a great mix with Charles’ funky style. I love the Chuck Taylors!

The Ebell club was the perfect venue for an intimate wedding.
