Meagan and Ryan…distance makes the heart grow fonder!

» Charity

Last week I had the pleasure of spending the day with Meagan and Ryan. We spent the day goofing off around The Pike and Shoreline Village in Long Beach. Ryan is leaving in a few weeks for Iraq for his one year tour in the Army. Eventhough Ryan will be on the other side of the world, Meagan knows that the distance will only make their love stronger. I could see how much they love and admire each other by the way they never stopped holding hands. Congratulations guys…..I’m looking forward to Ryan coming home safely and seeing you together again on your wedding day!

Libby & Dave…Lucky in Love

» Katie

It must be “the luck of the Irish” that brought Libby and Dave together. They literally ran into each other on the streets of Seattle. A quick conversation lead to a meeting, which lead to working together on Dave’s house revamp, which lead to lifetime together. I got to spend St. Patty’s day with these lucky loves and their “kids” Kobe and Sucia. We strolled through the botanical gardens at UCLA, caught some moments amidst the beautiful architecture of the campus, and then headed to the Getty to add some artistic flair. Check out some of Red Loft Studios’ favorite moments of the day.

Jennifer and Brent at The Sky Room in Long Beach

Last Saturday I photographed Jenny and Brent at the Wayfarer’s Chapel in Palos Verdes. What a wonderful wedding. The chapel is all glass and their ceremony was held right at sunset. It was such an amazing sight.
Afterwards we headed to the Sky Room in Long Beach for the reception. This venue is so much fun with a ton of character. It’s sleek art deco lines really set the mood as well as allow for some great shots. I had such a great time being a part of their wedding and getting to know their friends and family. Congratulations Jenny and Brent!

Nick and Lynn

Last Sunday I met up with Nick and Lynn at Olvera Street in Downtown LA. This is such a great location that you can have a lot of fun with.  We grabbed some shots around the local architecture and even snagged a few at the Disney Concert Hall.  I really love Downtown… There’s so much to take advantage of. Next we brazed the LA traffic and headed to the Santa Monica Pier. Nick and Lynn were so brave to go up against the heat… It was 95 degrees that day.  It was worth it, I think we got some really great shots. Thanks for the fun day you two.

Christine and Kyle… High school sweethearts

» Tammy

Last Saturday I met Christine and Kyle at the train depot in San Juan Capistrano. We had a lot of fun taking advantage of the architecture and history of this great city. Christine and Kyle were so playful and are so much in love… They’ve been together since high school. How sweet! Afterwards we headed to Dana Point and grabbed a few shots by the beach. What a great day… Some history and some sand. You can’t beat that. I’m really looking forward to seeing these two again on their wedding day.

A Wedding Fete at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort

» Jenny
Jenny

This Sunday we participated in “A Wedding Fete” hosted by Fete Inc. at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort where several high end wedding vendors exhibited. I saw some of the most fabulous booths at any wedding show I have ever participated in. Wanda of Fete Events put together an amazing boutique style event with a fashion show and wine tasting area. It was great to meet all of the brides and grooms who showed up. Take a look at some Red Loft Studios images from the day.
