Cathy and Jeff’s Historical Wedding

Last Saturday I met Cathy and Jeff at the San Buenaventura Mission in Ventura to photograph their wedding. This place has so much amazing history that comes along with it. It is the ninth and last mission founded in California way back in 1782. And it is absolutely gorgeous! We were able to get some really great shots here… inside as well as outside. Afterwards we headed to the Pierpont Inn which also comes along with a bit of history. It was built in 1910 to accomodate the uprising auto enthusiasts who where traveling up and down the coast. Well it was more than adequate at accomodating Cathy and Jeff’s guests as well as creating a perfect backdrop for their reception. There are plenty of gardens throughout to take advantage of as well as an amazing view of the ocean. What a way to celebrate such a special day. Congratulations you two!

    Gems…amazing colorful variety of gems here. Love the one where Jeff is smiling at Cathy during mass. That one photo speaks volumes.
