Marta and Mike

» Tammy
Tammy

This past Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing Marta and Mike’s wedding at Cal Tech in Pasadena. Let me just start out by saying that Marta looked absolutely amazingly gorgeous. Her dress was so beautiful and unique. It was two pieces with a chocolate brown sash… very elegant. And Mike matched up with her in his brown pin striped suit… also very classy. What a pair these two make. They are so fun and playful and deeply in love. They are wonderful to photograph. I had such a great time being part of their special day. Congratulations you two!

Blanca and Warren’s Redondo Beach Historic Library Wedding

» Jenny
Jenny

Saturday was the wedding of Blanca and Warren in Redondo Beach. Their ceremony was held at a very special place to Blanca and Warren. It was the site where they met in middle school…..St. Catherine’s Church. They both love books (each table was named after a classic novel) so the historical library in Redondo Beach was the perfect place for them to celebrate their wedding reception. Votive candles on the bookshelves set the mood in the room while the mariachi band got everyone in the mood to dance. It was a majical night and since these two are so cute and natural together the day was a breeze for taking photos. We all had so much fun together and I felt like I could have stayed all night taking photos.

Meghan and Mo

» Andrea
Andrea

Meghan and Mo decided that their engagement portraits should be taken at a location that they know and love…Old Town Calabasas. We started just a few miles from their house. Meghan and Mo met while going to school at Pepperdine University and will be having their ceremony there as well. I love that they were able to incorporate these special places that mean so much to them already. Anyone could tell how happy they are just watching them together. I had a great time spending the afternoon with Meghan and Mo, getting to know them and the area. I’m very excited for the wedding and to meet the rest of their friends and family. Oh, and to see what shoes Meghan has on for the wedding…check out her adorable blue and white polka dots! Enjoy the photos you guys!

Kate and Brian’s Backyard Wedding

» Tammy
Tammy

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Kate and Brian’s wedding at their home in Encino. I love that they chose to exchange vows with only their closest friend’s and family right in their own back yard. The whole event was intimate and heart felt with Brian’s sister leading the ceremony. And it was such a beautiful view with an amazing sunset. Gorgeous! Afterwards everyone chowed down on amazing cuisine and shook it on the dance floor. This was truly one to remember. Congratulations you two!

Jamie and Evan’s Malibu Pier wedding

» Jenny
Jenny

This Saturday, Katie and I took part in a beautiful wedding at the Malibu Pier. It was the most unique wedding I have ever been a part of. Jamie and Evan had a nautical themed wedding, with hints of bright yellow and royal blue. Jamie owns Sugar Paper, an invitation company in Los Angeles, and she used her creative eye to come up with some really cool details. There were pails full of flip flops, a row boat full of beverages, anchor motif coasters, pillows on the benches, hanging lamps in the tent, double decker buses to transport the guests, vases full of starfish, sea salt gifts for each guest, buckets of clams served family style, and even little ice cream sandwiches for desert. Jamie and Evan definitely pulled off a Martha Stewart type of wedding! The guests danced and laughed all night along side Jamie and Evan and I felt so lucky to be a part of such a warm and loving event.

Marisa and Peter at “The Playground of the Pacific”

» Jenny
Jenny

Yesterday Marisa, Peter and I headed out their front door and down the street to Venice Beach. They are both city planners so it was the perfect setting for some great urban shots. We had such a fun time hitting the funky parts of venice, including the boardwalk and then the beach. These two have a penchant for adventure (they are honeymooning in Panama) so they were up for anything, which made the shoot a lot of fun. I really love the fact that we were able to have 2 very different looking sets of photos with the city shots and then the beach shots. I really love the images that we got! Their love for each other really shows in how they interact with each other in the photos. (Do I see a new career for the both of them…..modeling maybe?) Thanks for a really fun shoot you guys!
