Danielle and Jimmy

On Saturday I had the honor of photographing Danielle and Jimmy’s wedding at Rancho Del Cielo in Malibu. This is a beautiful location with amazing views of the ocean. You can actually see Catalina Island from the edge of this cliffside ranch house. Danielle wore an elegant gown with a lace train and Jimmy kept it casual with a suit and flip flops. Their ceremony was very sweet and intimate. But once the reception started it was all about cocktails and dancing. This crowd knows how to have a good time. Congratulations you two! I’m glad I was able to share in your special day.

Laurie and Anil

I had a great time on Sunday photographing the family. Laurie, Anil and Lucy that is. Strolling around in Santa Monica was perfect. Not only does the couple live in Santa Monica, but they also had their first date there. The park, the rose garden, the pier, there’s a lot of history to be told. We started our afternoon at the Palisades Park and just continued down Ocean to see what we could find. After stopping at a very cute coffee shop for a little espresso, we headed to the beach. A little windy, but it’s all good. That’s the beach, right? At sunset we went our separate ways. They had some more celebrating to do. The following day was Laurie’s Birthday! I can’t wait to hear the details of Laurie’s surprise…

See you at the wedding!

Angela and Jason

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Angela and Jason’s wedding in Pasadena. They had a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Philip the Apostle and then finished up their celebration with an awesome party at the Cal Tech Athanaeum. It was a beautiful day and both Angela’s and Jason’s families were there to join in on the big day. They both have large families and I thought it was so special to see how tight and close they were with each other. It really made for a warm atmosphere. Congratualtions you two!

J&M’s Night at the Museum

Friday night Tammy and I had the pleasure of photographing Jennette and Molly’s wedding at the Museum of Latin American Art in downtown Long Beach. Jennette and Molly planned everything to the “T.” From coordinating pink and brown custom vans, to Molly’s awesome cufflinks and tie pin from Etsy, to my favorite, a multi flavored cupcake tower (the strawberry with chocolate frosting rocked the house). During the ceremony Molly’s friend read from the Velveteen Rabbit and later the two were serenaded with an acoustic guitar performance. The guests had fun in posing for polaroids with props and dancing the night away at the museum. We had a so much fun with J&M and their friends and family.

Celebrating the Marrige of Colleen and Beau

» Andrea

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Colleen and Beau. Their ceremony took place at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Los Angeles. Such an amazing church! Also, the church was used in the movie Spider-Man 3. Their reception took place at the Wilshire Country Club. Colleen and Beau had their first day on the pier so they incorporated that into their cocktail hours with pier inspired snacks…the cutest little corn dogs I’ve ever seen! Colleen is a wedding coordinator herself so she knew exactly what was needed for a great wedding. From the glowing centerpieces to their fun sparkler grand exit…this wedding was a blast!

Here’s to Colleen and Beau!
