Yesterday the three of us spent the afternoon enjoying everything Seal Beach has to offer… the sun, the sand and way too many good restaurants! Luckily Seal Beach is Jennifer and Jerrod’s old stompin’ grounds so they knew just were to go. With the exception of a little wind, it was a perfect day for photos. We splashed around in the waves a little bit and got some great beach shots. They were even good sports when I was a little late warning them about a big on coming wave. They truly made it a great shoot. I can’t wait to see their smiling faces on the day of the wedding. Enjoy the photos!

Tonight I photographed the wedding of Samaya and James. We started our photos at the famously cool Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel where we were able to get some great moody shots of the two of them. Then we headed out for the Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena. This is a gorgeous location with an inner courtyard, hanging lanterns, big bold colored doors, a koi pond, and beautiful exhibits inside the museum (I had to sneak a peek at the art!). Samaya and James wed in a peaceful buddhist ceremony amidst the sweet smell of incense and the singing of the birds. I felt so honored to be a part of their wedding and I wish them all the best. Congrats you two!

This past Sunday I had the opportunity of photographing Liz and Paul in Concord, CA on their quant and beautiful wedding day. The ceremony was held at Liz’s childhood church, where the grounds were decorated in chalk from family and friends congratulating the two. It was so sweet! They were so cute and so emotional all day. Lots of tears and lots of laughs were shared, especially during the
toasts! Thanks for letting me be a part of your day… congrats you two!

On Sunday Eva and I had the pleasure of joining John and Julia’s friends and family at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. They had an early indoor ceremony in the BP Hall along with lunch and dancing afterward. Even on a Sunday afternoon, the band had everyone out of their seats and joining the conga line.
John and Julia managed to created a wedding that was a little bit city and a little bit country. My favorite is the shot of their boots! Check out some more shots of the happy couple below.

This past Saturday I met up with Robin and RJ in Rancho Palos Verdes to photograph their wedding at the Wayfarers Chapel. It was a beautiful day and the bride and groom were just as beautiful to match. They both were all smiles with anticipation of seeing each other. How cute! After the ceremony we headed across the street to the reception which was held at a private residence. The house sits on top of a cliff and overlooks the Pacific. What a great view to set the mood for this throw down reception. It was quite the party. This crowd knows how to have a good time. I was only disappointed that I had to leave. Congratulations you two!

Yesterday I got to catch a beautiful Malibu sunset with Suemee and Ritsu during our second engagement session. We wanted to capture some great beach shots before their wedding on the 22nd to compliment our photos from their previous engagement session on the Sunset Strip.
