Lorena and Andy

Last Saturday Charity and I drove down to San Diego to photograph Lorena and Andy’s wedding. Not only was it a fabulous road trip, it was fabulous wedding! The MOPA at Balboa Park was the site they chose for their wedding and it was perfect for them. In the MOPA was a quaint theater that had twinkling lights on the ceiling that looked like stars and a spot light on the couple while they said their vows. After the ceremony their guests picked up little envelopes addressed to each one of them. Inside was a ticket that doubled as a place card. For their save-the-date’s Lorena and Andy sent out a photo strip they had taken together in an old time photo booth so to continue with the theme they had a photo booth at the reception. After their guests traded in their tickets, they would make their way to the booth and take their own funny photos.
Loreana and Andy’s wedding had a sense of old world charm and tradition along with a sort of hip retro vibe. The stunning location, Andy’s bow tie and Lorena’s veil, the photo booth, the group tequila shot toast and the mariachi band all made for a beautiful, unique wedding.
Oh yes…and the pink Cadillac they drove away in!
Here are some of our Red Loft Studios favorites.

WOW Andrea. You did an amazing job on the photographs! They have a very old time, retro look about them. These are timeless!
My favorite is the black and white in the hallway with them kissing. It’s very moody!
Congrats Andy and Lorena. You guys look so in love and your wedding looks absolutely gorgeous.
