Frazier Family Fun Fotos…(aka FFFF)

» Jenny

Today I photographed the wonderul Frazier family at the Long Beach Nature Center. Let me tell you, this is one good looking family. Even Grandma, who was my assistant for the day, is a beauty! I had so much fun walking the trails with them and discovering new sites to take photos. Journey was really good at scouting out some great spots with some phenomenal lighting (she’s either going to be a photographer, model, or maybe even a comedian!). Camilla and Gary should be proud of the family they’ve created! Take a look at some of our Red Loft Studios favorites from the day.

A Bottle of Red… A Bottle of White

Cody and Jeremy’s wedding took place in the quaint wine county of Paso Robles. The couple loves wine, so celebrating at Meridian Vineyards made perfect sense. Their ceremony took place outside on the lawn overlooking the grapevines. Cody looked just beautiful as her father walked her down the winding pathway. The reception took place in the barrel room. When the newlyweds did their grand entrance they came in from a tall staircase overlooking the room. It was their first time seeing the room all set up with it’s perfect details. I can only imagine what they were thinking as they entered the room and saw all of their friends and family cheering for them and how beautiful the barrel room looked. The rest of their evening was spent dancing, wine tasting, and enjoying their guests. Congratulations you guys. Thanks for including Red Loft in your wonderful wedding.

Cheers, to Cody and Jeremy!

The Kennedys’ “Indy” Wedding

» Katie

This past weekend Charity and I had the great fortune to travel to Indianapolis for Susan and Brandon’s wedding. Being two California girls we didn’t quite know what to expect from the weather so we donned our heavy coats and scarves and set out for a new adventure. We were absolutely blown away by Indianapolis in all its fall glory. I loved using the colorful foliage as a backdrop for the wedding photos. These two met at Notre Dame and have moved their romance to the Windy City. However, when it came to saying “I Do” Susan chose her hometown of Indy for the festivities. The wedding took place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the reception following at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. Both venues were over the top amazing. Our photo shoot didn’t stop there we headed around Indianapolis’ famous circle for photos with the wedding party and to an Irish pub to take a break, have some Guinness, and watch Susan and Brandon’s Fighting Irish play some football. Charity and I loved being involved in the weekend’s activities and actually grew to like the below 65 weather. Thanks to Susan, Brandon, family and friends for showing us a great time in Indy and for having us be a part of such a special day.

Lorena and Andy

Last Saturday Charity and I drove down to San Diego to photograph Lorena and Andy’s wedding. Not only was it a fabulous road trip, it was fabulous wedding! The MOPA at Balboa Park was the site they chose for their wedding and it was perfect for them. In the MOPA was a quaint theater that had twinkling lights on the ceiling that looked like stars and a spot light on the couple while they said their vows. After the ceremony their guests picked up little envelopes addressed to each one of them. Inside was a ticket that doubled as a place card. For their save-the-date’s Lorena and Andy sent out a photo strip they had taken together in an old time photo booth so to continue with the theme they had a photo booth at the reception. After their guests traded in their tickets, they would make their way to the booth and take their own funny photos.
Loreana and Andy’s wedding had a sense of old world charm and tradition along with a sort of hip retro vibe. The stunning location, Andy’s bow tie and Lorena’s veil, the photo booth, the group tequila shot toast and the mariachi band all made for a beautiful, unique wedding.
Oh yes…and the pink Cadillac they drove away in!

Cynthia and Andre’s Downtown Wedding

» Charity
Charity

Two Fridays ago I had the pleasure of photographing Cynthia and Andres wedding at Cicada in Downtown Los Angeles. These two met in High School and have been crazy in love with each other ever since. They started their day having breakfast together then I loved how they got ready in adjoining rooms at the Biltmore. They stood in the middle of their closest friends and family during the romantic ceremony. We had so much fun walking around Downtown snapping photos, they both have so much energy and couldn’t stop smiling. After the ceremony, the party got started and the entire room filled with people danced the night away.

I am so happy for you guys. Congrats!
