Modern Love with a Vintage Twist

When Megan, Jon and I discussed ideas for their engagement photo session we thought of playful and quirky ideas that would represent their fun/arty selves. Megan brought up the idea of heading to Pomona’s Art/Antique district where we could use the vintage Americana main street as a backdrop for our photo shoot. I loved the mid century feel of the architecture, antiques, clothing, and even cars which inspired us to get funky and try out some new ideas. I really felt like this shoot was a collaboration of our three artistic visions. Megan and Jon were awesome and willing try anything and everything. I am so looking forward to seeing what these two have in store for their wedding!
Check out some of our Red Loft Studios favorite shots of Megan and Jon getting funky below…

Megan & Jon definitely looked the part so we couldn’t resist placing them among all the vintage goodies.

What a great idea: the location, the clothes, the poses, and of course the subjects themselves. Out of 10, I give them a 14+ (that includes the photographer)!
J and M are made for each other, and it really shows up here in their comfortable-in-my-own skin attitudes.
Katie, great job capturing their souls!
Signed, Jon’s Mom, Sheila
I love Megan, too!!
