Jenna & David’s Hotel Bel Air Wedding

» Jenny
Jenny

This weekend I had the honor of photographing Jenna and David’s fabulously fashionable wedding at the Hotel Bel Air. Jenna and David are designers and owners of the ultra hip ANLO Jeans so it was only fitting that their wedding be just as stylish. Jenna looked gorgeous in a strapless lace wedding dress with a pink jeweled sash, while David sported a sleek traditional tux. The ceremony site was strewn with rose petals and candles and the chuppah was adorned with white cloth, flowers, and a crystal chandelier. After the ceremony the guests were invited to the cocktail reception where guests dined on sushi under the chandelier lit trees. Once the guests hit the reception, the band was rocking and everyone headed for the dance floor. Jenna and David have such wonderful friends and family and we were so happy that we had the opportunity to document their special day!

Cruzin’ through Santa Cruz with Julie and Rafi

» Jenny
Jenny

This weekend I was in Santa Cruz taking engagement photos with Julie and Rafi. It rained on Saturday but we had blue skies all day on Sunday….(and unfortunately a lot of wind). We started out at the Pigeon Point Light Station where the blue sky seemed to go on forever! Rafi proposed to Julie along the side of the road on the way to the light house. They were trying to make it by sunset but the sun wouldn’t cooperate so Rafi had to pull off the side of the road early. Julie still had no idea what Rafi was doing so it was a great surprise in a gorgeous environment! After learning of their proposal story, we made our way south along the coast where we stopped along the way to hit Costanoa, the eco adventure resort where Julie and Rafi stayed after their engagement. It is a stunning location with a lodge overlooking the ocean. They even have Douglas Fir Cabins and tent bungalows. The place is very romantic…..Good job Rafi!!

After hitting the resort we continued along the coast stopping to hit wildflower fields, the beach, another lighthouse, and Julie and Rafi’s wedding location. It was so much fun sharing my day with Julie and Rafi. I feel fortunate to have them as my clients and even more fortunate to be sharing in their wedding day! Congratulations you two…

Jessica and Matt hangin’ in Manhattan Beach

Today was such a gorgeous day and I was able to spend it with some really awesome clients of mine. Jessica and Matt are the best. We really hit it off and had a great day at the beach. I can’t believe I get paid to do this because it really is just so much fun! We cruised the neighborhood, then grabbed the bikes and headed down to the boardwalk. I was able to convince Matt to get on the swings and it was really worth it! Jessica and Matt really love each other and it shows in how they react with one another. They are really sweet to each other and love to have a good time. Thanks for spending the day with me and grabbing some fun shots.

Toni and Matt

Shooting engagement portraits for Toni and Matt yesterday was so much fun. We felt like kids again hanging out at the USC campus. Their were activities going on everywhere you turned. Matt and Toni both went to school there and it’s also where they first met so course it made sense to start at the campus for their portraits. We were a little worried about rain but the most we got all day was just a few drops at a time. USC is a great location for portraits. There are beautiful buildings and archways everywhere you turn. Watch out for the squirrels though… they’ll eat your lunch for sure! Next we headed downtown to Union Station and the Disney Concert Hall. We wanted to capture the more serious, romantic side of downtown and got some great shots at both locations.
