Michelle & Tony’s Modern Love Story

The story goes that one New Year’s Eve about 5 years ago a guy and his buddies where hanging out at Champps in Irvine when one admittedly clumsy lady accidentally spilled the guy’s beer. She offered to buy him a new one and he assumed she would walk away and he would never see her again. Little did he know the beverage slayer would turn out to be the love of his life and the two would live happily ever after. I had the pleasure of hearing this wonderful modern love story over appetizers and iced tea on the patio of Champps, perusing the latest magazines at Barnes and Noble, and ducking into doorways along the hallways of one of Michelle and Tony’s favorite hang outs, the Spectrum. It was a perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other and for me to see how it all began. From there we motored down to Laguna Beach discussing wedding plans and Star Wars (a favorite topic of all of us). Once we arrived we found some great photo ops among the shops and spanish style buildings of downtown and then headed to the beach for a beautiful sunset. It was the perfect engagement session. We laughed, played around, and got some fabulous shots. Congratulations to Michelle and Tony!

The pictures look amazing, though I would have loved to seen a lightsaber duel. :)

I had such a great time! I am keeping my fingers crossed for a light saber show at the wedding.

Chel is practically glowing! I love how these photos show how they feel about each other. The black and whites are stunning. I love the Champps story.

Thank you Katie!!! These photos are so phenomenal…I can’t wait to see the rest. I was blown away by the fact that, though Tony and I frequent these places quite often, YOU were the one to point out all the really cool places to use for a backdrop. Great eye!!! (and thanks for making us both look HOT!)

    Great pictures Katie!
My hat is off to you. I have been my daughters photographer for many years as she progressed thru life and have had some great shots but…
You captured exactly how much in love they are and their deep feelings toward one another. I’m so happy for the both of them to have found each other.
