Chamonix and Ernesto at the Roosevelt

» Tammy
Tammy

On Sunday I had the great pleasure of photographing Chamonix and Ernesto again for their wedding. Both the ceremony and the reception were held at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. This place is packed full of old Hollywood charm and history. It was actually the birthplace of the Academy Awards and has been graced by Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable. It was amazing to shoot here! Chamonix and Ernesto stuck to a 40′s theme which entwined perfectly with the setting of the hotel and their sense of style. What a beautiful wedding down to every last detail. Congratulations you two!

Brianna and Jason’s Stone Manor wedding

» Jenny
Jenny

This Sunday we had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Brianna and Jason in Malibu at the hilltop private estate known as Stone Manor. I was nervous about the weird weather that we had been having but the skies could not have been bluer and the weather warmer. Brianna and Jason are the most genuinely in love couple and I wouldn’t put it past the sunshine gods to have brought out the sun just for them. The wedding was gorgeously decorated with hanging chandeliers, crystals draped the branches of the trees lining the orchard, white linen and star orchids draped the chuppa, red tablecloths were adorned with splashes of red flower arrangements, and the menus were accented with individual crystals (a reoccurring touch throughout the wedding). Brianna and Jason came up with the most unique table assignment detail; a chandelier with each guest’s name hand painted on each crystal! The whole wedding was well thought out and very elegant. I could tell that the guests were awestruck at how gorgeous everything was.

Brianna and Jason are such a beautifully matched couple and we had so much fun laughing and giggling during our portraits that I really felt like I was shooting the wedding of dear friends. They both have the same silly sense of humor as me and I look forward to many more photo sessions with “The Adam’s”…

Congrats you two! Here are a few of our Red Loft Studios favorites.

Craig and Mary: Love in the Garden.

» Charity

Last week I met up with Craig and Mary to shoot their engagements. We started at Mary’s Aunts house in West L.A. Her Aunt has an amazing garden in both the front and back of her house with all sorts of nooks and crannies to take pictures in. The gardens’ colors and textures made for an ideal backdrop for our photo session. After we were done in the garden we strolled the neighborhood for a few sunset shots. These two kept making me laugh our entire shoot. They really are as cute together as they look. Congrats you two!

Jennifer & Bob’s Calamigos Ranch Wedding

» Katie

Jennifer and Bob said “I do” on Sunday at Malibu’s Calamigos Ranch. Family and friends gathered amidst the natural setting to witness a beautiful blend of tradition and personal style. When I first met with Jennifer and Bob they both expressed to me that they wished their wedding could be a relaxed and joyous opportunity for friends and family to come together and celebrate. They couldn’t have done a better job! As a pre school teacher Jennifer had the arts and crafts skills to make her dream a reality. Jennifer designed her super unique moss and branch centerpieces accented with flowers and candles and crafted them herself. They were the perfect accent to the woodsy feel of the ranch. The twinkling lights gave the whole event an aura of enchantment. Jennifer and Bob hosted a truly magical wedding. I am so happy to have been part of their day. Congratulations to Jennifer and Bob!
