Jim and Val’s early morning photo shoot…
This morning bright and early, I met up with Jim and Val to shoot their engagement photos. Their wedding is in a month and weekends are tight for the two of them so we decided to do an early morning shoot. I loved it. The lighting was soft and gorgeous and there was barely a person in sight. Jim is actually a former Red Loft Studios photo assistant so it was my honor to shoot their engagement photos (Tammy will be shooting their wedding!). Jim and Val are so cute together and we had a great time laughing and giggling while walking around The Pike in Long Beach. Since Jim has shot many weddings with us he knows the drill, but Val says that she hates her photo taken. The thing is, she is super cute and the two of them are naturals in front of the camera. I just love the challenge of photographing couples who hate their photos being taken. It gives them a chance to see that these shoots are fun and that they really are photogenic! Now Jim and Val will be hammin’ it up for their wedding photos without a care in the world. Jim, the Red Loft crew is so happy for you and Val and we wish you both happiness and health in your marriage.
