On Sunday, Heather and Kevin said their I do’s at Malibou Lake Mountain Club. This place is ideal for an outdoor wedding. You’re nestled in around mountain tops and trees overlooking the lake. Pretty awesome! And combined with Heather and Kevin just being absolutely adorable, it made for a perfect picture taking day. Heather looked gorgeous and walked down the aisle to the song, “At Last.” It’s a humorous touch that I loved because these two have been dating for so long. I love a couple with a good sense of humor! All in all it was a fabulous day. We took some shots around the property and around the lake. And then it was on to the party. Everyone was getting down on the dance floor and there was even a photo booth for some extra fun. What a terrific wedding. Congratulations you two!

This weekend I photographed the wedding of Tony and Tina at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Los Angeles. This church is gorgeous and has the best light for photos. We were going to try and find another location for photographs but I’m glad we didn’t. This church has it all; arches, iron, flowers, grass, and shade. After the ceremony guests made their way to King Hua Seafood Restaurant in Alhambra for a 10 course meal of  lobster, sweet dim sum, and all other sorts of yummy eats. The night continued after dinner with some great music and some dancing. Tony and Tina, we wish you all the best.

If you liked the movie Anchorman you can appreciate that title. And you’ll also be able to appreciate this awesome photo shoot I had at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego. The very sweet and definitely classy Suzanne from Details Event Planning, was vacationing with her family and so we met up to get some photos of them. Most of them traveled from Ireland so I was excited to be a part of the family coming together. They are so nice and now I know where Suzanne gets her sense of humor! Former Red Lofters Charmaine and Hubert are having a baby! WOO HOO! Three years after shooting their extrememly gorgeous Cabo San Lucas wedding, I had the pleasure of photographing their Luau baby shower. The little bundle is due shortly but that didn’t stop Charmaine and Hubert from paryting like rock stars (well maybe not really, but they did have a lot of fun!). They seriously are such a sweet couple and I am so happy that I was able to be there to help them celebrate. I can’t wait to meet the little baby! Congrats to you and your families.

Kristi and Mike decided to say their vows in gorgeous Sonoma at the Chateau St Jean. What an amazing backdrop! The opportunities for photography were everywhere! Since I had two engagement sessions with them, this was now my third time spending time with Kristi and Mike. Their love for each other was amazing and we got some great shots because of it! They were glowing! All day! Mike had this impermeable grin from the first moment I saw him. Guests traveled far… and the reception was a blast. Great tunes… and everyone was dancing! I even got pulled out on the dance floor! Perfect location…

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Alison and Kent at the Marina Del Rey Ritz Carlton. It was a beautiful celebration of their love with people traveling from all parts of the world. Kent is from Sweden and several of his family members made the trip out to be a part of the big day. The best part is that it was also Kent’s birthday! Alison is an artist (www.alisonfrey.com) and her dress fit her style perfectly. It was beautiful and unlike any other dress I had ever seen. I loved it! Alison and Kent exchanged rings by the waterfall in the rose garden with guests surrounding them, cocktails in hand. It was very laid back and relaxed since cocktail hour was before the ceremony. It was a nice touch that was indicative of how calm and relaxed Alison and Kent are. The reception was a blast and the music was phenomenal. Alison and Kent have GREAT taste in music and I couldn’t help singing aloud almost the whole night. I had such a great time and I wish you guys all the best!
