One of our own ties the knot

Sorry boys! Our very own Red Loft photographer Katie is officially off the market. We are so excited for her and Brian and we took a million and half photos to commemorate the joyous day. Eva hit up the guys getting ready at the house while I hung out with the girls at the loft (yes Katie got ready for her wedding at work….such dedication!). The momentous day was made even more special since Katie and Brian were married at the Long Beach home Katie lived in when she was little. The gorgeous old home from the 1920′s called Wuthering Heights (said to be haunted by the ghost of Clark Gable) was decorated with daisys, candles, antique vases, and vibrant oil cloth place runners set upon rustic wood tables. Think Anthropologie ladies. Ahhh, and the ceremony…I know I’m normally a sap during wedding ceremonies, but I was especially moved by their ceremony. It was so sweet and tender and I love the fact that when Katie walked down the aisle to see Brian she kissed him right away! Not to mention the fact that their two dogs were their flower girl and ring bearer. They truly are a perfect match and you just know they are going to be laughing together for their whole lives. I am so happy for the two of them and feel so honored to have been their photographer. I love you guys!

Check out some of our Red Loft Studios favorites. (I know, I know, we took A LOT but Katie’s a photographer! Trust me, she loves photos!)

Just a remark to all in attendance. I was in awe at how so many different backgrounds, religions etc. were not put aside for Brian and Katie but weaved together in such a way that through their love, we all emitted a contagious love that I am sure could have been felt not only at Laurie’s house but far into the universe a well.
I am so filled with love for every one of you and of course you too Brian and Katie. Love, Aunt Elaine
