Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Sloane’s Bat Mitzvah at La Boheme in West Hollywood. It was a wonderful night and I was so honored to be involved in such a special day for the family. We had such a great time at the Bat Mitzvah that we thought we should all team up again for a family photo shoot. We met in Malibu and the fun took off from there. Steve, Carrie, Sloane and Jackson are so playful it was easy to capture amazing moments of laughter and love between them. Check out all the fun we had with our Red Loft Studios favorites below…

Former Red Lofters Jeff and Margaret came on down to introduce me to their very first little bundle of love, Mia. She is a real cutie patooty. She giggles and smiles all the time. It was so great to play with Mia and remember how sweet 6 months is. My own little son has hit the 17 month mark and let me tell you, he does not sit still. With Mia I was able to take a ton of pics because she doesn’t go anywhere!!!  I feel so honored to be able to capture some photos for the West family photo album. Until next time little Mia!

I recently had the pleasure of being a part of Adam’s 13th birthday celebration…his Bar Mitzvah. The Bernstein family holds a place in our heart since a few years ago Katie photographed older brother Corey’s Bar Mitzvah. They have such an amazing family and it is a joy to be around them. Adam is quite extraordinary for a 13 year. He is extremely gifted in the arts. Not only did his singing during the Bar Mitzvah blow me away, but so did his dancing at the party after the ceremony. I also found out that he is a well known actor. He has appeared in several hollywood arenas including numerous Burger King commercials and he even appeared in one of my favorite movies, “Funny People”. So you’d probably think he was a spoiled brat, right? Well, he’s just the opposite. He is kind, thoughtful, loving, charming, gracious, and above all he loves his family. He was very appreciative of the hard work his family had put into such a beautiful event. I have to admit that I cried during the ceremony when Adam’s parents spoke about what a wonderful son he was. It made me think of my own son and how one day I hope he would feel just as loved as Adam is! Mazeltov Adam!

Cute little Madison made her very first Red Loft Studios modeling debut. She is quite possibly one of the most mellow babies I’ve ever seen. I think she secretly has a passion to be in front of the camera. It was amazing how she looked right at the lens and gave me some great smiles. She’s only a few months old so that’s quite impressive! The family and I had so much fun braving the cold to get some beautiful fall shots and then they treated me to some super yummy Cuban food. Ahhh…you can’t get much better than that. Congrats to Charmaine and Hubert on the new addition to the family!

Today I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful Cooke girls again. We usually meet up for a photo shoot once a year and just like in the past, these beauties totally shine in front of the camera. Not only are they the sweetest little things, but they are also full of energy and life. It’s not hard to get a fabulous photo of any of these girls! It was really fun to see each of their individual personalities come out as the shoot progressed. I feel so fortunate to be able to document the lives of such a wonderful family.

I met up with little Jake and Emerson for the second part of their baby photo shoot. We invited their parents along and we had a ton of fun hanging at the Norman P. Murray Senior Center in Mission Viejo. There are trails, pathways and a canyon filled with fall leaves and cool bridges. We made our way through the park and found spots to let the kids play and get some photos. It’s pretty cute seeing these two together and seeing how much they’ve grown since our last shoot. I know these two are going to be best buds when they grow up and although they won’t remember this photo shoot, they’ll have these cute pics to rememeber how funny they were together.
