Jessica and Stephen at the Bel Air Bay Club

» Tammy
Tammy

Last Saturday I headed to the Bel Air Bay Club to photograph Jessica and Stephen’s wedding. This is such a great location! The ceremony is held outside on a grassy lawn overlooking the Pacific and the reception takes place inside in an incredible hall that dates back to the twenties. It was gorgeous! And so were Jessica and Stephen. They looked magnificent and are just so perfect for each other. They were laughing and cracking each other up all day. These two really like to have a good time and it shows. Their reception was full of their closest family and friends and once the band started playing it was non-stop dancing. What a fun wedding! Congratulations you two.

Take Me Out to a Wedding

» Katie

Last Saturday Eva and I joined Jenni and Carlton at the Summit House in Fullerton for their beautiful wedding. Jenni and Carlton have been sweethearts for years and when they decided to say “I do” they did it with a style all their own. Everyone who knows Jenni and Carlton know that they are HUGE Angels fans so it seems fitting that they incorporate their favorite team in their special day. I love when weddings have unique flavor and these two really incorporated their theme in fun ways. Jenni and Carlton thought of every detail. Only thing missing were the peanuts and Cracker Jacks. Congratulations you two!

“Luke” who just dropped in…

I am now officially a mommy! I had my baby boy on November 30, 2008. Luke Stafford was plucked into this wonderful world weighing in at 7lbs 11 oz and 21 inches. With those stats we’ve decided to call him Lucky Luke (well and plus he’s pretty lucky to have me as a mom…hahahaha). In celebration of his arrival, I am offering $100 off our Red Loft Studios family portrait pricing. Get more pricing information at info@redloftstudios.com and just let us know that Luke sent you. Can’t wait to talk “mom shop” with you and photograph your beautiful family!

Pictures with Morey…

» Nikki

This past Sunday Kristi, Mike, and their little pup Morey and I played in the sun and fog in San Francisco. We started off in the warmth at the Palace of Fine Arts, then traveled into Chrissy Field, which was overcast – with no view of the Golden Gate Bridge. We made the best of it, and Morey had a top notch day. The best part of it all? It was Kristi’s Birthday!! I can’t believe she let me put her through torture on her birthday.. ha ha. We had a blast. I brought balloons to play with… that popped. However one was salvaged and we certainly utilized it! Being new to the Bay Area, they got to experience new sites and the changing weather of the fall. Sunny one day, foggy the next. We decided to extend our engagement session for early spring… on a day that you can see the Golden Gate, and hopefully not in fog.

I can’t wait for the second shoot! Happy Birthday Kristi!!

Drew and Jerry in the LBC

» Tammy

On Friday I met Drew and Jerry here in Long Beach to photograph their engagement photos. They live in Long Beach and love the city so it made perfect sense to do their photos here. We hit a lot of the hot spots. We started at Shoreline Park then headed over to the boardwalk by Parker’s Lighthouse, then headed to the beach and finally wrapped up in the East Village. We had such a great time exploring together and collaborating on fun shots. These two are fabulous! They are so adorable together and look great in front of the camera. I’m really looking forward to shooting them again at their wedding which will be held at the MOLAA… more fun shots!

Riley and Drew In Downtown LA

» Tammy
Tammy

Last Friday I had the great pleasure of photographing Riley and Drew for their engagement photos in Downtown LA. At first we started at Union Station to capture some of the Old Art Deco feel of the building. Then we headed over to Disney Concert Hall for a more modern look. I enjoyed shooting these two so much. They are so natural and playful with each other. I love the candid shots we were able to grab. I guess it makes sense that they’re so comfortable with each other since they’ve been together for 15 years. That’s amazing! Congrats you two. I can’t wait for the wedding in October. See you then!
