Riley and Drew In Downtown LA

» Tammy
Tammy

Last Friday I had the great pleasure of photographing Riley and Drew for their engagement photos in Downtown LA. At first we started at Union Station to capture some of the Old Art Deco feel of the building. Then we headed over to Disney Concert Hall for a more modern look. I enjoyed shooting these two so much. They are so natural and playful with each other. I love the candid shots we were able to grab. I guess it makes sense that they’re so comfortable with each other since they’ve been together for 15 years. That’s amazing! Congrats you two. I can’t wait for the wedding in October. See you then!

Darling in more ways than one!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting the Darling family at their home in Newport Beach. I was introduced to 3 month old baby Sierra. Sierra has the cutes little lips (dare I say that they are “darling”) and the biggest brown eyes. She was very aware of the camera on her photo shoot debut…can you say America’s Next Top Baby Model? I think mom and dad may need to get her some headshots next time around. Thank you for welcoming me into your home. It was a pleasure spending time with you guys!

In her mommy’s tummy Sierra always had her hands above her head…

Holding tight to her daddy.

Ahh…little heart shaped lips!

Applesauce Music…future rock stars of America!

Friday I set out to photograph something quite unique. I joined the music classes of Applesauce Music to capture some spontaneous and fun moments for their new website (designed by Red Loft Studios’ very own awesome team of web designers Jloop). I had so much fun watching Suzi and her amazing talent for teaching music. She is so lovable and sweet and you can tell how much the kids (and the parents) love her! It really is amazing how music allows children to express themselves in such a positve way. Suzi’s teaching process, called Orff-Schulwerk or Orff Approach, focuses on learning music through dancing, singing and keeping a beat. This creative free form type of teaching allows children to comfortably and naturally learn music. It is so fun to see the kids laughing and dancing. It makes you want to get up out of your chair and dance and sing along! Way to go Suzi!

One thing about Suzi…she’s always wearing her Chuck Taylors!

Pomme Bebe photo shoot #2

» Jenny
Jenny

On Sunday I met up with the Pomme Bebe girls to shoot some photos for their website and brochures. It was so much fun playing with little Tate and Marina and watching them chow down on the yummy food! Just look at how cute they are. Pomme Bebe has such great organic, fresh baby food that I wanted to jump in and start tasting. The cool thing is, the food is adult friendly too! You can actually feed your baby and yourself at the same time. Their food is already flying off the shelves.
Get some yumminess for your baby….they will love it. Just check out the photos of Tate and Marina enjoying Pomme Bebe!

Pomme Bebe Grand Opening Event

» Jenny

Yesterday was the grand opening for Pomme Bebe in Newport Beach. Red Loft Studios was there to help celebrate the hugely succesful event. Pomme Bebe is a gourmet organic baby food company with a great location in Newport Beach. They have a baby food tasting bar where your baby can sit in one of their funky Bloom highchairs and taste the freshly made samples of the day before you purchase. They even have a fun play area where moms and babies can have play dates. On the day of the opening everyone celebrated Halloween by dressing up in their costumes and participating in games, making art projects, and winning prizes in the costume contest. Everyone was having so much fun and Red Loft Studios was there to document the good time. Congratulations to Pomme Bebe.

100x100px_square.gifRed Loft Studios was honored to be chosen as one of the The Knot’s best of wedding vendors for 2007. Brides from all over the country voted on their favorites and we were one of them. It felt great to be chosen and even better when I opened the magazine and saw one of Katie’s pictures gracing the pages. We love what we do and we want to thank all of you for voting for us!
