I know, I know… I have the best job in the world. I get to travel to gorgeous beaches and photograph some really awesome people. I’m definitely not complaining. So anyway, that’s exactly what I did last week. I traveled to Jamaica and I photographed the wedding of Margo and Jerome. They happen to be the coolest people on earth and I’m not just saying that since they flew us to Jamaica! Margo and Jerome are two people who were made for each other. Katie and I kept commenting how sweet they were together and how sweet they were to us. We felt like family from the second we arrived. Margo and Jerome celebrated their nuptials at one of the premiere hotels in Jamaica, The Rockhouse. This boutique hotel sits atop rocky cliffs which overlook the crystal blue waters of Pristine Cove in the city of Negril. It was the perfect setting for Margo and Jerome’s romantic wedding getaway. I have so many photos I want to share of this beautiful couple so check out some of our Red Loft Studios favorites.
JUNE 26th- Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot
We took some photos around the town of Negril on the day we arrived. What a blast!

Sitting under what is said to be Jamaica’s oldest breadfruit tree.

The Negril Point Lighthouse

A quick stop for a Red Stripe.

And some entertainment from Negril’s very own Sexy Rexy!

JUNE 27th- The Wedding Day
The wedding day started very unconventionally with Margo and Jerome getting ready together in their room. I absolutely loved it! There’s nothing sweeter than sharing in the anticipation together.

Margo looked stunning in her Monique Lhuillier dress.

Jerome worked the handsome groom angle in a tan suit that matched perfectly with Margo’s dress.

The walls of the Rockhouse were perfect for photographs.

Strolling through the streets of Negril.

The ceremony was held on the wood hewn terrace.

Cocktail hour by the pool.

A shot of the whole gang!

Some details from the day.

JUNE 30- Post wedding exploring
After several days of laying by the pool, relaxing, and going to the spa, Katie and I headed out on a group excursion with Margo, Jerome and some of the guests. With the help of Robert from Kenny Tours, we saw some of what the island has to offer; The Mayfield Falls, The Black River, the Appleton Rum Distillery, and my personal favorite, The Pelican bar.
The group…

A friend we met on the road.

Lunchtime with the old stand by…Red Stripe.

Our little fashion plate at the next table.

Our fishing boat on the way to The Pelican Bar.

The Pelican Bar is a rustic wooden bar built on a sand bank a quarter of a mile out to sea.

Jerome’s mom takes it all in.

We made friends with some of the local boys.

A beautiful boat ride home.

Congratulations Margo and Jerome and thank you for including us in your magnificent Jamaican wedding.
