Jennifer and Brian get hitched!

» Jenny
Jenny

The very sweet Jennifer and her just as sweet hubby Brian, recently got married amongst their family and friends at the Saint Maximilian Kolbe Church in Westlake. After theceremony guests headed to Camarillo to Spanish Hills Country Club to celebrate with the bride and groom and get their groove on. Not only do I love this couple, but their family and friends are just as awesome. I had such a blast on the dance floor capturing the festivities.  The speaches were equally just as great to capture. Jennifer’s dad had a fantastic speech that made the audience tear up and Brian’s brothers’ speech had the crowd falling out of their chairs. The night was beautiful and it is one I will never forget. Congrats you two.

An Afternoon with the Chmara Family

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Sloane’s Bat Mitzvah at La Boheme in West Hollywood. It was a wonderful night and I was so honored to be involved in such a special day for the family. We had such a great time at the Bat Mitzvah that we thought we should all team up again for a family photo shoot. We met in Malibu and the fun took off from there. Steve, Carrie, Sloane and Jackson are so playful it was easy to capture amazing moments of laughter and love between them. Check out all the fun we had with our Red Loft Studios favorites below…

Yissa & Kevin at the Disney Concert Hall

Over the holiday weekend I met up with Yissa and Kevin at the Disney Concert Hall for part one of our two part engagement photo adventure. Yissa and Kevin are both architects so it seemed only fitting that we use one of downtown LA’s most famous buildings as a backdrop for the photos. We found amazing photo opportunities hidden behind the curves of the building and in the reflections of the metal surfaces. As we roamed the grounds I got to know Yissa and Kevin and hear all of their wonderful wedding plans. I can’t wait until August for their wedding at Wayfarer’s Chapel and then for part two of our engagement adventure in Vegas!

I can’t help it. I just love this photo. It makes me laugh just like Yissa.

Yvonne and Brian at San Ysidro Ranch

I just had the pleasure of photographing Yvonne and Brian’s wedding at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara. This place is so beautiful and amazing! It’s tucked away in the mountains and has all these little cute and adorable cottages for you and your guests to stay in. It’s the perfect setting for a wedding. So needless to say, the sweet venue coupled with the good looks of Yvonne and Brian as well as their super fun vibe made for a really great day of photos. These two have incredible friends that were all about having a good time and celebrating the occasion with the happy couple. I really had a fabulous time and I’m so stoked that Yvonne and Brian did too. Their day unfolded exactly as they had hoped for and I have to give them a big high five for that. Congratulations you two! So happy for you!

Jasmeen and Brad’s Southern CA nuptials

Jasmeen and Brad’s wedding in Long Beach was a ton of fun! It was at Jasmeen’s aunt’s house and the home was FULL of Jasmeen and Brad’s family and friends. Jasmeen and Brad are teachers who live in Senegal West Africa so along with the local guests, people flew in from North Carolina and even West Africa!! Needless to say, that meant that the guests were ready to party! The dance floor was packed, the food was amazing, and the music was an awesome mix of African, hip hop, blue grass, and country. What an amazing way to celebrate such a beautiful couple! And they truly are an amazing couple. They are so in love and it shows in the way the two interact with each other. They are also the most gracious hosts and I was treated like a guests from the moment I got there. I ate some pretty great food and laughed and cried with the rest of the bunch. I’m so happy for Jasmeen and Brad and know that they will have an incredible life together.

Sloane’s Bat Mitzvah Bash

A Bat Mitzvah is a special time in girl’s life when she is officially seen as an adult member of her community. Its a beautiful religious ceremony followed by an amazing party. Recently, I had the pleasure of taking part in Sloane’s Bat Mitzvah at Cafe La Boheme in West Hollywood. Sloane was so impressive as she read from the Torah, sang the blessings and gave a heartfelt speech about service to one’s community. She is such a mature and beautiful person. You could really feel the love in the room for such a special girl.

After the ceremony friend and family were treated to a beyond fabulous party. The already decadent cafe was adorned with candelabras, a hip lounge set up and fun and games for the kids. It was as if the famed Moulin Rouge was transported from Paris just for Sloane. Everyone had a blast indulging in treats and dancing the night away. What an amazing event!

Congratulations to Sloane and her family on this wonderful rite of passage.
